Dreams and Heartbreak

In the last year or so, my most amazing sister-for-life, has come down with a serious case of baby fever.  She wants a baby pronto.

Unfortunately, she's had some health problems and they are getting in the way of her baby dreams.

For a few years, Em had been having some serious stomach issues.  Last year, she had her gall bladder removed and we thought that all of her stomach problems would be back to normal.

She's been back in the hospital twice since then.  One of the times was Friday night.

Friday night, Em was rushed to the hospital at 3am, in such serious pain that everyone was so scared that her appendix burst.  It turned out that she had an ovary burst and then hemorrhage.  This is not her first one but definitely the most serious and severe of them all so far.

So scary.

We're not sure why this keeps happening.  But each time it does, the few months prior to it happening, her body tricks her into thinking it's pregnant.  So heartbreaking for someone who wants nothing more than to be pregnant.

Today she made an appointment with a homeopath.  Her previous doctors would only treat their specifically area of expertise.  She is hoping to have someone treat her entire body.

So I'm requesting prayers for Em and Mike.  I'm praying that Em's health improves and that she can have the baby of her dreams.  This is something she is so desperately wants.  And there's nothing more than I want for her.

(Aaaand...I secretly want to have a baby niece or nephew!)
