The Gosselin family gets a new formal picture taken, trying to get a perfect picture with eight kids who do not want to sit still.

Today's family picture day! Everyone's heading to Beth and Bob's house because they have a really nice property and let the family shoot there. They've been using the same guy since the little kids have been born. In addition to the pictures, TLC is going to shoot the opening for the show, too. Oh my. Are they going to be able to handle all this?

Jon's working on getting the kids dressed for the shoot and Joel isn't with everyone else. He sends Leah upstairs to check on him, but he's sleeping in bed still. Jon yells for him and eventually just went upstairs. The little cutie was pretending to sleep and laughed when Jon found him. While Jon's working on getting the kids ready, Kate was working in the kitchen getting the kids snacks ready.

After all the chaos, the family made it to Beth and Bob's. The photographer decided he'd get the pictures outside this year. Since it's the beginning of fall, the leaves are just turning and it looks beautiful. The only thing is that when they got to Beth's house, all the kids had to be changed and have their hair done. Umm...why didn't you get them ready before leaving the house? I thought you *hated* changing everyone a million times? Isn't this just more work? Well, it's not more work for Kate. Because she sat in a chair and barked orders at Jon.

The photo shoot starts and the kids seem to have a fun time. First, they shoot the family picture. After some minor seating changes, it seemed like they were getting some great shots. Kate decided that it would be a good idea to get pictures of Mady and Cara by themselves, because they haven't gotten any in awhile. The kids are beautiful, so I'm sure the pictures turned out awesome.

After pictures were over, the photographer revealed a special picture for Jon and Kate. It was an old one from their first house. It's a great picture of Jon and Kate with the 6 babies in strollers. The picture turned out awesome and it brought Kate to tears. I can't believe how much they've aged, too! It was nice to see Kate show some genuine emotion. All I can think of is holy cow...that's a lot of babies.

Now that everything was done, everyone piled into Bob's tractor and they headed for a hay ride. It looked like a fun time and the kids seemed to enjoy themselves. Leah even fell asleep. But I can see how that would be relaxing. I love sleeping in the car!

When the hay ride was over, the kids got to bob for apples. I'm surprised that Kate went for it because you basically share a bin fun of germs with each other. The kids didn't care and seemed to be happy with their apples!

In the end, we got to see some of the pictures that the photographers too. And they turned out awesome. Those kids are beautiful. I hope they realize how great their kids are. And not to take them for granted, either.
