We had such a fun weekend. Saturday morning we met up with Janice and Mike. It was so nice to see them, especially because The Stork is planning on visiting them in April! :) I am so excited to be an unofficial auntie and buy the baby all kinds of fun stuff.
After lunch we headed to the boat and spent most of the afternoon out on the water. Although before we headed out on the water, we bailed a decent amount of water out of the boat. Make for an interesting afternoon! We met up with Mr. and Mrs. D on the water but really just saw them over the water and yelled back and forth. We stayed out on the water for awhile and ended up just eating dinner at Dug's Dive. It wasn't too crazy and we listened to some jazz music.
For some reason on Sunday, we ended up just running around and not having a really busy afternoon. But in the evening, we headed to Aunt Mary Ann's for dinner to meet Uncle Doug and Aunt Betty. It was really nice to meet them and we ate a ton of awesome food. Most of the night we spent the time chatting it up with some family and friends.
Yesterday was the best day of the weekend. We spent virtually the entire afternoon on the boat. It was so great and relaxing. We ate lunch with Mr. and Mrs. D and then sailed around and then met up with Shawn and Megan. So much fun. We ate dinner with Mom, Dad, and Dan. Mom made my most favorite summer sandwiches - tomato, bacon, and cheese. They were so scrumptious! And after dinner we hit up Dairy Queen for some yummy ice cream!
Ok - so my weekend was super fun and I did just kind of gloss over it. haha
And now it's time for work and I'm so not into it!

On a super sad note - a childhood friend passed away on Sunday. It was quite sudden and unexpected. His family is devastated and we are all still in shock from the news.
Michael G - you're in my thoughts and prayers
