Jon & Kate Plus 8 - The Big Move

The Big Move
The Gosselins pack up and move to a much more spacious home.

~*~

Oh, I feel all the makings of a disaster. The kids aren't listening, the packing is out of control, and Kate is MIA for a part of the show. Oh geez.

The show opens with tons of stuff in boxes and all the beds dismantled. All the toys are put away and it definitely looks like they are getting ready to move. And Kate was in LA for *business* so she wasn't able to help. As per usual. Jon seemed a bit overwhelmed to be taking care of the kids and trying to pack the house to Kate's direct orders. Poor guy.

As Jon's getting the house packed, he's getting kind of nostalgic and remembering all the memories the family made in this house. It's nice that he feels that way about the house and the family. We know that Kate doesn't echo his feelings - she'd rather throw everything away.

The kids are wrecking havoc in the basement by jumping and running all over the packed boxes. So if there was anything fragile in there, it won't be there anymore. So the boxes got smushed and Jon gets upset that everything's all messed up now.

Kate's finally back from LA and it's time to move. The kids got sent to their friends' houses which was probably good that they could avoid this disaster. As the movers arrive, Kate is frantically throwing things in boxes and taping them closed. As a person that has moved people, I can honestly say that showing up to help people move who aren't packed makes me angry. I hate it. You have to be ready...this isn't a surprise!

Once they arrived at the house, Kate did absolutely nothing but stand at the front door and bark orders. Those poor guys. How awful to have her barking at them. Once in the basement, Kate freaked out because there was some dirt in the basement. She gets all upset that there's some junk left over from the previous owners. Okay...they left a ton of junk behind in their house. So isn't that the pot calling the kettle black.

The kids are loving that they can run around outside and have space to do their own thing. It seems like they are enjoying having trees and a large backyard to hang out.

Jon's got a busy day ahead of him. He's got to put a showerhead in (apparently they drag this showerhead where ever they go), assemble some furniture, and get other stuff ready in the house. Kate freaked out because Jon purchased a brand new showerhead and didn't use a coupon. And I mean freaked out. She threated to shoot him, bearated him for not giving her the receipts, told him he was done purchasing, demanded he come downstairs and tell her what he did wrong. I mean the woman was brutal. Absolutely brutal.

It's finally time for lunch and getting the kids ready for school. Jon thinks the kids are fine to go to school, but Kate wants the kids to get into better clothes for school. It's preschool and I don't think it matters. Since Kate was already irritated, she just got nastier and started to order Jon around more. What a terrible woman.

Kate ends the show saying that the family needed the house and the space because of the kids and everything she does is for them.

SassySarah's Review: Kate's coupon rant was completely unacceptable and appauling. Two thumbs down.
