Jon and Kate answer numerous questions raised by viewers in emails and video uploads as they've watched the couple raise their children through the years.

Great, another FAQ show? I wonder if we'll learn anything this time consider it's the 3rd time we're doing this.

We see Jon and Kate on the interview couch and Kate's hair looks super streaky and awful. Does she really think this looks good?

Q: Are you worried that the exposure the kids have from being on tv will keep them from having a normal childhood? Do you think they'll be upset with you for allowing them to be filmed?
A: A sane person would answer *YES* but I have a feeling they aren't going to do that. Kate says they are enriched by doing the filming. And they have been able to see and go places they never would have been able to go before. Plus, they are super friendly and outgoing. (Cue Good Housekeeping and Hawaii footage.) The kids aren't being scarred for life but are having life experiences. Plus Kate says they'll have the funding for college with this money. (Umm...but what about the $1.5m house and other stuff you just bought?!?)

Q: Which of the Gosselins do you think will have the most teenage drama?
A: Kate admits she will have the most drama because of them. Way to make it about yourself, Lady.

Q: You are doing a wonderful job. You're raising amazing kids. Keep up the good work. I do have one question...Is the crew only there certain days of week? Do they get there before you wake up?
A: Yes, they get there before they wake up. The crew says if the door's locked they'll call and have someone let them come in. Kate makes it clear that they are not filmed constantly but only about 3 days a week.

Q: A question for the crew: Is Kate really strict with the crew?
A: The sound guy and camera operator tell us that there are a lot of rules - no shoes in the house (unless they wear the bootie things over their shoes). It is noticeable that the original guys that they kids used to talk to are not gone. Weird. Some of the other rules - no one is allowed behind the kitchen island because Kate feels smothered. They crew should also be respectful of their house and space.

Q: I have always wanted to know if you are going to let your kids get involved with different sports or if you think it would be too hectic?
A: They are already involved in sports. Cara does sports and Mady did clay class.

Q: When the kids turn 18 will you buy them a car or make them get a job?
A: 8 kids...they aren't going to be buying them a car. Kate wants them to make their own money and have them share a car.

Q: Jon, do you like being the father of 8?
A: Jon says that he loves it. We see some cute footage of him interacting with the kids, too.

Okay - at this point in the show, it's clearly another day because Kate's hair looks shorter and worse and her skin look so incredibly tan. In fact, if she spent anymore time in the tanning booth, she'd be orange.

Q: (video) What are some of the family's favorite activities?
A: Friday night movie night with the family. Have dinner together. Travel together. Going to Utah, Hawaii and North Carolina.

Hmm...Kate's skin tone and hair are back to the original color in the beginning. Wonderful editing.

Q: I would like to know if you would like to have any more children? Just checking... Have you thought about adoption? Are you trying to get pregnant?
A: In a snarky voice, Kate proclaims that she didn't lose all that weight to do it all over again. Nice Kate. Jon declares he doesn't know what's going on but Kate says 8 is enough. I do know from a People article that they would love to adopt 1 baby from Korea.

Q: Question for the crew: Who screams the loudest?
A: The Audio Mixer tells us that it's Alexis...which I think we already knew!

Q: How do you put up with all the screaming and the cries?
A: Kate turns her music up and Jon goes outside. What great parents. How about trying to find out what the screaming is about and fixing it?

And we're back to the orange version of Kate.

Q: Kate, are you writing more books?
A: Yes, she discovered that she loves writing. (Hmm...I thought Beth wrote the first one...) 8 Little Faces is coming out soon.

And we're back to Kate's regular skin tone.

Q: (video) What kind of music do you listen to?
A: They listen to all different kinds. Jon loves cranking the tunes and dancing around. Kate likes classical and 80s rock music. We see footage of Kate handing out a CD at St. Jude.

Q: How are the music lessons going with Mady and Cara? Can we see another concert?
A: Cara quit after 4 lessons and Mady only takes violin for social aspect. Good to see that donated piano is being put to good use. But Jon does tell us that Mady had a great singing voice and she loves singing. No concert because no one plays anymore, really.

The oompah-loompah returns.

Q: What has surprised you most about being on tv?
A: It's so much work for the family. They can't believe how difficult it is to go into public. It's becoming crampt in the house. Everything surprised them because they had no idea what to expect.

Q: As the kids are getting older, has raising 8 children gotten easier or harder?
A: It's physically easier to get them to places. But mentally it's harder because they're older and they have some attitudes. The kids are also being sneakier and are ganging up on them. It's a different way to raise them.

Q: (video) Did you have trouble finding organic food when the kids were babies?
A: When Mady and Cara were little, it was hard to find organic food. When the little kids were babies, about 60% of their food was organic. Kate buys organic in bulk, uses coupon, and shops on sale. I don't know if I believe this now because of the craft services business that's come out, but whatever.

Q: Kate's looking really good these days. Can she share any of her weight-loss program? What's Jon's secret?
A: They bicker about who works out and who doesn't. We see footage of Jon in the gym. And then Jon tells us that Kate eats bird food.

Q: It's so cute when the kids say, "On this episode of Jon and Kate Plus 8". Is it hard to get them to do it?
A: The kids love it and race to say it first.

Hallelujah - we're back to normal.

Q: (video) How old were your kids when you first starting using time-outs? And how did you teach them to go there on their own?
A: Kate thinks it's between 18mo and 2 years old that the kids starting getting time outs. But they are good about going there.

Q: Could you go through each kid and name one thing about them that makes them easy to parent and then one thing that makes them hard to parent?
A: Cara: Very easy-going, sweet and kind but holds her emotions in and explodes. Mady: Never holds her emotions in but has a large heart and loves everyone. Alexis: Very smart and catches on fast, but is mischevious and naughty. Hannah: Big helper but has a huge attitude. Thinks she rules the world. Aaden: Cute and cuddly, but can't do anything for himself and wants to be baby. Collin: Very sweet and caring, but the most stubborn person alive. Leah: cute and tiny, but is secretly naughty and the mastermind behind it all. Joel: Good kid but is a little whiny.

Q: I heard somewhere that when you have twins, one will be right-handed and one will be left-handed. What about the sextuplets?
A: The person was thinking of mirror image twins, but that's not what Cara and Mady are (they're fraternal). It's random that the girls are right and left-handed. Unfortunately, Jon and Kate don't know which kids are left and right-handed. I think *I* might know.

AAAHHH...normal skin...I can't handle you.

Q: (video) Who do you find really inspiring?
A: Parents of kids with cancer. That's awesome but a canned answer.

Q: How do the kids feel about having the cameras around?
A: The kids seem comfortable with the camera. They have grown up with them in their faces, so it's a normal thing for them. Which is sad that cameras are a normal part of their lives.

I rejoiced with a normal skin tone too long.

Q: (video) What's your favorite part about being in a large family?
A: It's never boring. There's always someone to play with, lots of hugs, no stale food because it's never around long enough.

Q: (video) What's the wooden sign on the kitchen table say?
A: It says "Plan Ahead" but the person didn't plan ahead.

Q: For the crew: What's the crew's favorite moments?
A: The kids special days seem to be the favorite because you get to know the kids individually. The one guy's favorite moment was Collin's dance after the knob incident. It was adorable.

Q: What is a chewie? And how long will they use them?
A: A chewie is a burp cloth that Leah and Aaden chew on. Jon says they're cutting the kids off at age 5 because they're getting super gross. Alexis chews on her blankie.

Q: (video) Do you have trouble understanding what the kids are saying?
A: No, Jon and Kate understand exactly what the kids are saying. And I admit, I do understand what they are saying. I love hearing them talk...it's always so cute.

Q: (video) What are the misconceptions about doing a show like this?
A: People think they don't work. I guess Jon and Kate struggle to answer emails, have conference calls, do phone interviews, give interviews for magazines, and schedule. They have more than 40 hours a week with the show itself. They get angry because this is the hardest job they've ever had. Hmm...I thought it was raising their kids? Kate acknowledges they have only a little privacy left and they are drawing some lines for their kids to live normal lives.

And we're ending on the normal looking Jon and Kate.

Q: Jon we see Kate go to the spa, but we never see you do anything?
A: Jon says he's going to go golfing or the gym more.

Q: When all the kids move away from home, Jon and Kate are going to...
A: Sleep or move away with them. I think the kids are going to move far away. Kate says that when the kids are older, they're going to travel and spend 6 weeks with each kid. YIKES! That's no fun.
