This is the first time Jon's taken all 3 boys out for a day of fun. While the boys were out doing manly stuff, the girls would be staying home and making Monkey Munch.
We see some footage of the boys and Kate had decided that boys are just dirty and gross. She finds it disgusting. And she just doesn't understand why they are so dirty.
When Jon was getting the kids ready for the day, Kate kind of got upset and told Jon to put them in polo shirts and khaki shorts. I don't know why it mattered what they wore golfing. They're 4 years old!
The three little girls were home with Kate to make some Monkey Munch and when they started to make it, Kate realized that they were missing some stuff. Since Kate only had 3 kids, she just threw the girls (in their matchy matchy outfits) into the car and they headed to the store. The seemed to have fun at the store, but in trying to get home, Alexis kind of freaked out and wanted to get out of the car seat.
Before the boys started golfing, Jon took them into the pro shop so the kids could get some clubs. I don't think the boys really cared about the golfing, but seemed excited to get a sleeve of wiffle balls.
It was finally time to start golfing and the boys seemed excited to start golfing. Jon helped each of the kids try to putt, but while he was working with 1 kid, the other 2 kind of got loud and started running around. I think that's just the nature of boys!
During the actual golfing portion of the day, the kids didn't really have any interest in doing golf. They seemed to have a really good time running around the course. There were fun things for them to climb on and they totally chased each other all over. So funny. I think they may have had just as much fun riding on the cart and playing on these weird stairs at the course.
Now that the girls were back from the store, it was time to start making their snack. The girls really wanted to help Kate, but a lot of the stuff she was doing by herself and not really letting the kids do it. That lady has got to learn how to relax. After the monkey munch was finally done, the girls were super excited to lick the spoons. It ws the best part of the day!
It was nice to see the boys have fun on their golf day with Jon. They did seem to have fun and actually be boys. I'm glad they had a fun time with Jon. Even though he did kind of ignore them and golf without them. But whatever.
Kate kind of ruined at the end. She was saying next is the girls' day out but she has to take 5 kids instead of Jon only taking 3. Seriously? *That's* what you're bitching about? Oy. Go away, lady.
SassySarah's Review: The kids seemed to have a fun day together with their dad. One thumb up.
