Cutting Room Floor
Never-before-seen footage includes a first trip to the beach and plastic surgery about which Kate has never spoken.

Gosselins Go West
During the trip to Sequoia, Jon decided to stop at Moro Rock. The trip was successful for Jon, Kate, Mady and Cara. We did see some of this in the Going West episode, but they decided to climb a rock that we didn't see in the original episode. Kate was too scared to climb so Jon took both girls by himself. Mady got scared on the way up, but Cara seemed to love it. Of course the trip wasn't complete without Kate not being able to take pictures and screaming at Jon. Yikes. Poor producer Jen...she deserves a medal for surviving that trip.

Discipline
During one episode, Collin was hitting Aaden over the head with a block. While watching the show, Kate realized that she probably should have been paying attention to them and stopped that.

First Haircut
Kate acknowledges that she waited as long as she possibly could until cutting the kids hair for the first time. Someone came over to their house and cut everyone's hair. The kids seemed to enjoy it and didn't freak out too much. The kids were adorable and I can't believe they were that little. So adorable. Plus, the owner of this kids salon that did their first haircut, offered them free haircuts for life. Nice.

Tummy Tuck
We get to see video of Kate's *huge* belly before the kids were born when she was on bedrest. And after the kids were born, she showed what her belly looked like. It was horrible looking and she called it her "butt in the front". I could have been horrified if my stomach looked like that! But because she showed it on tv, someone nice saw it and decided to give her a tummy tuck. Now that she's got the surgery, Kate says she's super happy with it. A free tummy tuck? I would hope so!

Twins Modeling
After having the girls get their pictures taken, Jon and Kate took Cara and Mady to a casting agent to see if anyone would want to hire the girls. So Jon and Kate took Cara, Mady, Hannah, and Leah to a mall to see if anyone was interested in the girls. Based on the video, it doesn't look like the girls were all that chatty or involved. But overall the agency didn't seem to be super interested in the girls. Which is probably better for them. Or not. Perhaps they wouldn't have cameras in their faces every waking moment.

Getting Rid of the Pacis
When the kids turned 3, the kids made a big deal of giving all their pacies to their cousin Benny. So each of the kids got a bag of pacies and they all gave them to the baby. It was so cute. Of course, before giving them to Benny, they had to have one last suck. Which was so cute.

Trip to Disney
During the trip to Disney, Jon, Kate, Cara, Mady, and Talia and Britney, Beth's daughters, went to see Cirque de Soleil. Beth and Kayla stayed back at the hotel to watch the rest of the kids because they had already seen the show. While at the show, the clowns came over and started piling boxes on Kate. She seemed a little surprised to have them do that, but the girls seemed to love having all the attention on their mom. So funny.

Trip to the Beach
On the day the family was going to the beach for the first time, the weather was horrible. The plan was to meet Jon's Aunt and Uncle and enjoy their time together. But due to the bad weather, the wind was whipping around and making the sand hit the kids in the legs. Which I'm sure it hurt, because the kids were crying that it hurt so bad. Jon tried to get the kids into the water, but the waves were super high and no one really had a good time at all. So everyone packed up and Jon tried to hurry everyone back to the car. Of course, that didn't work out so well when Kate started screaming for Jon to come help her, as per usual. Oy.

SassySarah's Review: They did minimize Kate's meltdowns, but there wasn't anything too interesting going on in this episode. No thumbs up or down.
