Jon & Kate Plus 8 - Garage Makeover

Jon installs extensive shelving in the family's garage; Kate users her organizational skills to instruct Jon on where everything should go.

Kate using her *organizational* skills? This should be interesting.

Jon's going to be putting together 2 cabinets and some ceiling mounts so that the family can have more space to play in the garage. They just need more space to grow, so Jon figured that by organizing the garage would help them out. And Uncle Kevin would help them get everything together.

Kate realized that it was going to be a long day because she was going to be with the kids all day while Jon and Kevin put everything together. Once the kids got up, they ran downstairs to say hi to their dad. It was so cute how they got super excited to see him.

While Kevin and Jon were working on the shelves, the kids seemed mesmerized by seeing all the stuff get put together. They helped out a few times and got to play outside a bit, too. Unfortunately, during the playing, a ball got loose, and Jon had to run and get it. The kids got upset that Daddy was running away, and Kate told them that he wouldn't run away while they were watching. ha

Chaos started when Aaden bit Collin on the tummy. Yikes and it was a hard bite. Aaden didn't seem too happy to be sitting in time out, but hey, that was a nasty bite. He tried to trick Kate by getting up but she wasn't fooled. He was super happy when he got paroled, though.

Once the hanging shelves were done, Kevin and Jon had to get the wall shelves taken care of. But they seemed to have some good momentum and got it done quickly. In order to test the sturdiness of the shelves, they put Alexis on the shelves. The fearless girl held on to the ceiling shelf and just laughed and laughed.

Now that all of the shelves were assembled, Kate stood in the middle of the garage and ordered Jon around and told him where to put everything. Jon asked her to talk to him nicer and say please, but she thinks that please is inferred. Um...no. You have to say please. The nerve of that woman.

At this point, naptime was over and some of the kids escaped from their cribs. Apparently they aren't supposed to get out of the cribs without a parent going to get them. Um, okay. If they get out of their cribs before they are supposed to be out, then they have to go back in the cribs for 45 more minutes. Which seems kind of harsh.

Oh and a fight between Jon and Kate broke out when Kate wanted the pinecones in a specific box. Ugh. Seriously can't they just leave each other alone?

SassySarah's Review: Kate acted like a spoiled brat, again, by ordering everyone around. Kevin and Jon were doing something for her and she couldn't even say please or be gracious. One thumb down.
