Mady and Cara celebrate their birthday at the American Girl store in New York.

Everyone's getting ready for a big NICU reunion at the Hershey Medical Center where the kids were born. They'll get to see all the nurses and doctors that helped them through their ordeal. It's time to get everyone ready first. Of course it's never easy and Jon and Kate get into a bitching match over what shoes the kids are going to wear. It turns ugly real quick and Jon asks Kate when she's going to "pull the stick out." While it sounds awful, she was horrible to him.

Since we just saw some bickering, some footage of Jon and Kate hanging out and being happy was sprinkled in. I'm glad to see that after the kids are in bed they are good role models. Too bad they aren't nicer to each other when the kids are watching.

We're finally at the hospital, everyone's unloaded, and the nurses are happy to see them. Everyone seemed happy to see the kidss and there were tons of stuff for the kids to do. Each of them got to ride on a horse, go through a petting zoo, and tour a fire truck. Looks like fun!! The day wasn't complete before more drama ensued when the kids weren't walking as fast and Kate was super anal about it. Oy.

It's Cara and Mady's birthday now, and Jon and Kate are taking the girls to the American Girl store in NYC. The girls are thrilled about their trip and can hardly contain themselves. Since the little kids aren't coming along, Kate's set up the entire day via notes for the babysitters. At least y ou ca't say she's not prepared.

Jon, Kate, Cara, and Mady are heading to NYC via train. It seemed nice that they could all spend time together on the train. Unfortunately when they arrived at the train station, the girls didn't seem so happy. It seemed kind of early in the morning but hopefully the day will turn out better.

After some complaining and arguing, they finally got into a cab to head to the American Girl store. Kate was insistent on hurrying because they surprised the girls with tickets to an American Girl show. Thankfully they arrived on time, but the surprise of the show wasn't so fun for Mady. Mady doesn't appear to like surprises and got mad that she wasn't told about the show in advance. Apparently she isn't too good with surprises. Mady does cheer up when they get into the store and find out they can pick something out. It was cute when Jon asked Mady where American Boy was. lol.

The day ended with a fun lunch. The girls got little booster seats for their dolls, which was so cute. And the last surprise of the day was that the girls each got their very own American Girl dolls. Both girls seemed so excited to get a doll. It's awesome for them to get this doll. When I was little, some of my friends had American Girl dolls but they were dolls that you just looked at and didn't touch. I'm glad they're allowed to play with them!

SassySarah's Review: Despite Kate's bitching and moaning in the beginning, it was awesome to see Cara and Mady so excited. One thumb up.
