Bikes and Trikes
The guys from Orange County Chopper come to the family's house to hang out and plan the design for Jon's custom chopper.

While sitting on her plastic throne, Kate announces that she hears the guys coming. The guys from Orange County Chopper are coming to build Jon a motorcycle. For free, I'm assuming, because this family pays for nothing.

After the guys arrive, Kate tells Mikey that he's super hairy in real life. How nice. And when we see Kate on the interview couch, she's laying on it. Super classy.

While Jon goes to decide what kind of bike he wants, Mikey asks Kate if he can help her with the kids. Help her with the kids? Does Kate ever turn down help? Mikey breaks out a ventriloquist and the kids seem to have a fun time. Mikey definitely knew how to make the kids laugh and they seemed to enjoy playing with him.

Kate decided that she was going to take a ride on a bike with Paul Senior. So she hopped on the back of his bike, told him he was sweaty, and rode away without the kids. (PS - who was watching the kids while they were riding around?) Kate notes that they didn't have helmets on and that it's legal where she lives. And that is true - there are no helmet laws in PA. I don't feel like that's a great example to the kids, though.

Mikey thought it would be fun to do an art project with the kids. He brought loads of stuff and let the kids go crazy. Kate didn't seem to like that it wasn't an organized project, but she said she ended up having a good time. Of course she did. She sat on the table, without a bra, in a baby doll dress. Oy.

Jon and Paul Junior set up a picnic lunch for the family. Kate flipped out when the dogs came over to try to eat the lunch near the dogs. So she screamed at the top of her lungs and ordered Jon to take them away. It was nice to see the guys interact with the kids and hang out. They seemed to be more calm about being around 8 kids than Kate did.

Awhile later, Jon headed to NYC to meet up at the shop to help build his bike. Paul Senior gave him a hard time but Jon seemed to enjoy helping to make his own bike. I have to admit, if you were going to get a bike, it would be fun to make your own in the shop.

Jon's bike was finally done and when it was delivered, a surprise for Kate was included. Mikey brought Kate a pink scooter. Kate seemed to get a kick out of it and really enjoyed that it was pink. Jon seemed to live his bike. They did a really good job on it and incorporated the kids into it. So cool. Of course when Jon took it out for a spin, Kate stood there with a sour puss on her face.

Kate "instantly" decided that she was going to donate this scooter. But before she did it, she hopped on for a ride. In a mini skirt. Because of course all regular people ride those things in mini skirts and wedges. Oh Kate.

Because Mikey made Kate the pink scooter, she decided to take him to the spa for the afternoon. Poor man. Kate told him that he needed to have his hair washed and combed. How unfriendly. But he seemed to take it all in stride. But during the pedicure, Mikey got her back and asked for an US Weekly. Of course it's because Kate's been on the cover for the last 5 weeks. So hilarious. She did laugh though. Which was shocking. I'm surprised she didn't take offense to that.

The next day, wearing all matching outfits, the kids and Kate (wearing yet another inappropriate dress) headed to the Ronald McDonald House to donate the bike. Because she can't do anything without a huge amount of fanfare, Kate started to make a speech in front of the entire RMD House staff. During that speech, Cara was playing with the horn and Kate stopped her speech and told Cara that she was so done with the horn. Then turned to the RMD people and said to throw the horn in the trash. Nice. Way to embarrass your kid in front of everyone. Again.

The show ended showing Kate autographing the scooter for RMD. She signed it "Kate Gosselin of Jon and Kate Plus 8". Hmm...now we know that no one wants it.

SassySarah's Review: I didn't really like that this show was entirely about jon and Kate. Isn't the point of this show to be about a family of 10? Hmm. One thumb down.
