Twins Are Mommy For a Day
The twins get excited when their parents give them a chance to be mommies to the sextuplets for a day.

Mady explains that she and Cara are going to be Mommy for the day. They really wanted to be in charge. So with Jon's help, they were going to get all the meals taken care of and stuff like that. During this time, Kate was going to be changing the family's wardrobe from summer to winter.

Breakfast doesn't seem to be going so well, with all the kids sitting at the table screaming. Mady wants to take over and Cara seems hurt that she doesn't get to try and help them. After Cara tries to help, Mady decides that she doesn't want to do anything because Cara took the "easy" kids. Everyone finally gets their bowl of cereal but by the time everyone's fed, Cara's crying and trying to get away from Mady.

Something interesting and telling, Mady just stood in the middle of the dining room and yelled at the kids to be quiet. I wonder if she learned this behavior from Kate. Because I don't think she'd be doing this on her own.

Now that eating is over, Mady decides she's going to start the kids on a brown bear project. The kids all get a paper and start to cut down the lines that Mady told them. At some point during the project, the kids didn't do what she wanted and Mady kind of took over and did it for them. While Mady's doing art projects, Cara and Kate are sitting in the living room reading books. And Kate announces that when Mady does projects with the little kids, she can get *ugly*. How nice.

When the kids think they're done, they run into the living room to show Kate what they've done. Mady freaks out and runs away. Kate then tells her that's not very nice and Mommy's don't act like that. Um...has Kate completely forgotten the last zillion episodes that we've seen?

On the interview couch, Kate tells us that Mady acts more like Jon and Cara is more a problem-solver and listener. And that Mady gets her screaming abilities from Jon. Hmm...now who was the one that screams "JON" across Toys R Us, the Crayola Factory, Disney World, and really any other public place?

It's only 10am and Mady decides that it's the worst day ever. The kids have also decided that Mady isn't a good Mom.

Mady and Cara do get a break when Jon takes everyone outside. The kids decide to run around and play with some balls and the swingset. Unfortunately, Jon isn't paying attention and nails Leah in the leg with a soccer ball. Poor little girl.

We see some more footage of Kate switching the clothes. I don't remember it taking anyone all day to do this. Even my friends moms who had like 5 kids.

Cara comes outside to play soccer, but Mady decides to stay inside and watch tv. And perhaps the most disturbing portion of the episode is Mady rolling around on the floor during her interview.

It's time to get ready for lunch. So the kids are having chicken cheese steaks. Kate wanted the girls to have a day really making something. Um...because Kate "cooks" all the time? I didn't realize cheese and fruit was cooking. Kate came downstairs and helped the girls start to make the sandwiches.

Now that it's lunch time, more arguing ensues between Cara and Mady. Cara decided to quit and let Mady do everything. Mady got sick of it, too and let Jon do everything. Kate intervened again and ended up serving lunch. Oy. Lunch wasn't going so well.

It sounds like the day ended after lunch and the parents took over. Which was probably for the best.

Although the end of the show was extremely cheese. Kate was in the closet with Hannah who lovingly draped herself over Kate and said that she loved mommy. Oy.
