The Gosselins get ready for a trip to Hawaii, where Jon and Kate will renew their wedding vows. In addition to packing for a family of 10, Kate must also find the perfect dress for the vow-renewal ceremony.
It's a week before everyone's leaving for Hawaii and Kate's gathered the kids in the basement. She's showing them their wedding video. And look at this, Kate's whistling a different tune. In a previous episode, Jon and Kate say how much they loved their wedding. Now she says that since they didn't have a lot of money and their families couldn't make it, they decided to get married in PA. Hmm...way to turn the tables, eh?
Since Kate determined that the kids wouldn't be able to handle the time difference, the plan was to head to San Diego first. I kind of understand this, but how priviledged are they to have the option to do this. Seriously.
Before the family left, Kate and Jon were fighting over who wanted to sit with Joel and who didn't want Alexis. Joel is a super traveler because he's quiet and behaves wonderfully. And Alexis just can't sit still for a long time so everyone tries to pawn her off. How sad that this is what the family's come to.
We flash back to Kate's trip on the Say Yes to the Dress show. So we see her pick out a bunch of dresses and then eventually demand to have a new dress fashioned out of 2 separate ones.
Kate had some free time, so she sat with each of the girls and gave them all pedicures. It was so cute to see her spend time with each of them. Each of the girls seemed excited to be spending time with their mom for a few minutes.
The next morning, everyone was up early and getting ready to leave on the plane. After everyone got ready, the bus pulled up to take them to the airport. Everyone and everything piled in to the bus and headed off.
SassySarah's Review: How many times do we need to see this family get ready for trips instead of just being on the trip? Seriously. No thumbs up or down.
