Jon & Kate Plus 8 - Pancakes and Potties

Pancakes and Potties
Kate teaches the girls proper bathroom habits.

Kate thought it might be a good idea to take Mady and Cara for a photo shoot to see if there was any interest in them. It was going to take an entire Saturday, but before they leave, it's going to be a pancake breakfast.

Due to the fact that there are *so* many plates to wash, Kate decided to use paper plates instead. (Way to go *green* and *organic* like you so preach) The kids seem to love eating pancakes and can't wait to get their own.

Now that the girls are older, Kate's started to potty train them. Hannah, Leah, and Alexis were all ready to start using the big potty. Alexis was the first one to poop in the little potty. She was super excited and proud of herself. Of course, she got 2 m&ms as a reward and everyone clapped for her. Additionally, Kate decided to take pictures of the kids with their first poop. Which is kind of weird.

It's time for Jon and Kate to leave for the photo shoot, so they leave the boys and Alexis with Nana Janet. Nana seems sad to see some of the kids go, but is looking forward to spending the afternoon with the kids.

Cara, Mady, Hannah, and Leah hit the road and head to the photo shoot. Cara and Mady got some makeup put on and new clothes and smiled for the camera. They did a good job and looked so gorgeous. While this was going on, the makeup people asked Leah and Hannah if they wanted some makeup and seemed so excited to get some lipstick. They were so cute. And got super excited to show it off to Mom and Dad.

Back at home, Nana was having fun playing with the kids. There were only a few fights and for the most part everyone seemed to get along. Minus a small biting incident between Joel and Collin. But what's a bite mark between brothers?

The funniest part of the episode was Leah looking right at Jon and saying that she "pooped in [her] unnawear." And when Jon went to go take her out, she walked super funny. It was adorable and gross.

Cara and Mady seemed to have a great time posing for pictures. They seemed to enjoy the outfits and having attention on them. Before they left, they got to see some of their pictures, which turned out awesome. They are beautiful girls.

When they arrived home, you could tell that Nana Janet was ready to be done - those kids kind of ran her ragged. But overall it was a great day.
