Today I am thankful for all of the men and women who have fought for freedom. They have left the comforts of their home, families, and friends to fight for our country. And many of them have made the ultimate sacrifice. And I am so incredibly grateful for their service.
I am blessed to have had both of my Grandfather's serve in WWII - Grandpa Jay in the Army and Grandpa Schlierf in the Merchant Marines. And my hilarious brother-in-law Jon served in the Marines for 4 years and defended our freedom in Iraq for 2 years. Without them and many others like them, the country would be very different.
